    open the heater valve
    remove the thermostat,reattach hose.
    remove the top rad hose from rad,point it at one of your unsuspecting mates
    then turn the motor on & pour new coolant in the bottom hose as fast as it'll drink it.
    when ur mate is covered in about 2 litres of dirty coolant,switch off the motor.

    nah,dont listen to me,i just remove the drain bolt......
    easy when u got the right tool

    I wasnt being smart by the way.. Im just trying to get my head around all the different methods.. and of the easiest / safe method

    if u dont want to jack the passenger side of your car up 90deg,u gotta remove the drain bolt(just next to the engine number btw) & has crush washer not an o-ring,use some sealant on the thread as well.

    strings right its a bitch to get loose,u need like a lever socket arrangement that u can hammer on.

    i think u'll find most people dont even bother draining the block,even the shops,the shops prob just flush new coolant thru the block,if at all....

    Save yourself the trouble and get the right tools and get the drain bolt out. That way you know its done properly.........

    Its really not that hard with the right tools
