The key itself was US$115 off ebay. Cutting was $28 and reprogramming was $30.

Separate. Got the key about 2 months ago from the U.S and just tucked it away til I got the car. Went to the locksmith and dealer yesterday and paid cash for the cutting and programming.

This is where I got the key from.

Just wondering, do they need the car with you to program a new key or can you just give them the VIN and an existing key?

I went so far as to call up Honda Australia about this and got a very vague answer to the effect that since the Euro was built in 08, they don't have full iPod integration etc etc which is bull, bottom line is there is really no answer as to when we will ever see full iPod integration that they have in the US Acura TSX

I got my MY10 Accord Euro Luxury Sat Nav delivered with iPod Integration and Bluetooth.
    1. iPod: Yes, iPod is bad! Track 9... no info on both iPod Nano and iPhone 3G. The Sat Nav display on iPod Nano just says "Extension", and iPhone has no information at all, but at least I can see what's playing on the phone but no control at all other than from the audio system/wheel. My dealer gave me a warning in advance but don't be bother at the end.

Verdict for iPhone/iPod integration: Expensive charging device - no difference using Aux input - just get a car charger, and ipod usb cable plus the Aux cable - less than $15!

    2. Bluetooth, no caller info display on Sat Nav Screen - just use the car speakers (only front right for voice - obviously iPhone 3G doesn't support voice dialing, it's sort of useless as well.

    3. Sat Nav - No Text to Speech function for turning right to x street in 100m. Can we change the american english voice or the computer generate lady doesn't understand Australian English from Whereis Australia - version 15 (2008!!! not 2009 maps for car purchased in Oct 2009.)

    4. Auto - Pinging issue - not hearing anymore and my dealer said the firmware/software of the system has been updated.

General comments - It's still a good Honda Accord Euro

Not exactly sure what you mean there but if you are referring to the iPhone and have the iPhone 3Gs you can press and hold the home button to bring up the voice control option to dial.

    Hi Everyone,
Just picked up our new Euro Accord Lux 2010 yesterday. I have bought a $7 aux cable - and do have an iphone car charger - I am not sure I have a usb port in this car - it definately has the power port and the aux but not a mp3/usb doovie. What am I missing here?
    Liz
