I think the price in Victoria of ODC is cheaper than that of WA. Looks like I can get a MY09 Standard for about $40,000 with 6000km Demo.

Very hard to get price down further than $46500 in WA for demo Standard with similar km !

JazzMi, have you checked what is the cost and time involved in buying a Eastern State car and bring it over? It may not be all that worth while once it gets over here.

From what I understand (it is very sketchy, so anyone please feel free to correct my understanding if I am wrong) If you doen't live in VIC you can't register it there. You will have to de-register it from VIC and then incur trucking cost to bring it over. Once it is here you will have to bring it over the pits for inspection, re-register it here and still pay WA transfer fees and stamp duty.

Not too sure of all the cost for all the above, but how much will you actually save?

Delivery cost using train will cost between $500-$750 but i'm not sure if it's gonna be door to door.

Can't remember exact details, but a mate bought a demo Merc CLK280 from either a NSW or VIC Merc dealer and it cost him $1.5k inc transport to pick it up from another Merc dealer here. He then had to do what I said above to get the car registered.

Yes, I have 3 months to de-register and take the car over the pits and re-register in WA. Still cheaper but more hassles...
