s2000 buzzing noise in rear parcel shelf

    hi guys
everytime i go past about 3,000rpm regardless of what gear
until about 6,000rpm i get this buzzing noise as if metal is vibrating, rubbing against something and making a constant BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ sound
it is very noticeable with the top up but a lot of the sound dies out when the top is down, or ive exceeded 6000rpm.
it sounds like the noise is coming from where the soft top meets the body of the car right under the rear window. ive checked all the bolts, even my boot has been tightened but still the noise is still there.
can someone please help me as it has been happening for like 4 months now and since its hitting winter, the top is up more often and the noise just drains my life.

u sure it's not clutch buzz thats causing the noise? cos all the symptoms sound like clutch buzz minus the fact its coming from the rear.

I have the same sound from the same RPM levels. Wish I knew what it was.

I thought it was from my hardtop because its begun happening since about then.

Check your spare wheel. If the screw in clamp comes loose it can vibrate.

You know another solution is a loud exhaust.

Maybe your parcel shelf is lose. Put some mats or something on your pracel shelf and see if it gets rid of the noise.

    STILL THE SAME!!!
i got custom exhaust aswell so it is loud..decent loud. not unbearable like the invidia (im going by this on how much brad complains about his) lol
