    a guy on the forums is selling ELF 5-40w oil 5L for $40
    any1 used this? or recommends this? how will it be in winter driving in sydney thank you (used in the s2k obviously)

    should be fine. i think if you replace your oil every 5000kms, you'd be fine with most products with correct specs.

    well, i changed ALL my fluids when i bought my car.. 20,000kms. hahaha.. bit over the top. but yeah. peace of mind. just check service history. if it's been done recently and according to schedule, then generally you wouldn't have to.

    i would do the oil and oil filter definitely.

    Does anyone here use Penrite 10W-40 (extra 10) ?? It is reccommended for 10W-40 cars,

    Penrite full synthetic is one of the best oil on the shelf for the price, beats Nulon and castrol oils I'd believe.

    Just buy 5W-30 Castrol Edge for $45 from supercheap..

    Yes!! very good quality oil for that price. and i personally dont like ELF.

    wtf why? If you already accidently bought the oil then use it but if you have the option of buying the correct oil at the same price why wouldn't you?

    IMO 30 weight is perfect for our car and climate.
