No idea why. But Nulon themselves say that it is a hybrid coolant using a mixture of IAT and OAT. The IAT component is the one with silicates and WILL cause abrasion and pitting in the Honda cooling system and eventually causes pinholes and leaks.

Even Nulon themselves say to use the red coolant for aluminium radiators. http://www.nulon.com.au/products/Red...rated_Coolant/

I paid $36 for 4x 1L bottles of OEM coolant from the Honda dealer.

    It looks like blue gatorade

i use nulon on all my cars. never had a problem .

but i suggest for another 25 get tectaloy, and get a red colour or someshit so you know whats leaking if it starts leaking.

and ive never seen nulon rusting anything. and ive used it on aftermarket cooling systems and standard aluminium cooling systems.

but yeah if you can as i said at the start get OEM.

^^ Cheers, im planning on going OEM, just thought that if any other users are in a similar situation they can have as much info in one thread and save having heaps of threads about the same thing ie... oil.....
