Not sure about the GS500, $3500 sounds really cheap are you sure its the newer F model?

So probably wouldnt be good idea to get any pre-2009 Hyo since it might have problem.

Do you know what is the normal service price for the bike , let says Hyosung ?

Servicing should be cheaper on the EFI model, less time needed to tune

The hyo's quality is quite obvious when you look at one but the 250's had crank bearing issues, both had fuel filler vent issues, fuel filter failiures, rear disk failiures, and the 650's had valve issues caused by dodgy guides the 650's had a change of head design in march 2006 and have been recalled in europe, Your problem will be that as the heads were redesigned and not recalled hyo AU will not repair.
