Smile Civic FD1 06 VTI, looking for Cat-back suggestions

    Hey guys,

I'm new around here and just got me an FD1 06 model.
I'm currently looking for a good Cat-back system for it, just wondering which is a good one out there at a reasonable price which would make a good low purr and not too massive looking lol.

I Got my eyes on a Greddy Evo2 system.
    Any opinions?

Sounds like you are willing to spend quite a bit to get a proper exhaust designed for the FD1 and is easy to bolt on?

if you did your research you are going to pay 1.2k for a mugen exhaust tip alone whereas for the same price you can pay for a whole catback from js racing

the mugen exhaust tip isnt that loud either, its more of a bling item rather than giving gains

the only reason i like it is because its not that loud....i dont want to attract attention from cops pulling you over because your car is over the dB limit...AFAIK the dB limit is around 98dB

1.2K is pretty steep....perhaps fujitsubo twinloop

in regards to the fujitsubo, they only make it for the fd2 atm, they made one for the fd1 but ONLY for the singapore market and its really hard to get

i wanted one but had to settle for js racing instead

only replica will fit on a bolt on basis... unless you get a genuine fd2r front bumper and fd2r front guards

yeah I have to agree I did look at the Mugen one.. and they are pretty expensive =D.. Although with the J's Racing.. anyone got a vid and pic of how they look and sound like???

    Edit:

Nevermind just Youtubed it, Yeah J's Racing def sounds meaner than Mugen LOL... but Mugen look better, not a fan of the titanium tip.
