    rear demister switch.

My honda has a demister switch with a push on/push off configuration.

I have in my possession the same switch and for the same car, but only its a momentary push on configuration. On other cars with this type switch, the demister turns on when you push the button and turns off when you push it again OR after a said period of time.

What do i need (any additional hardware) to run the second switch that is mentioned....

    thanks in advance.

so the actual switch dosnt stay in the "ON" position, it dosnt click into position? like do you have to hold the button for the demister to operate?

As I have said, it is a "momentary on" switch. (I'm sorry, well it feels like it operates as a momentary on switch)
I haven't tested it yet as it's a spare switch that's not connected to the car.

I posted on another forum and the guy reckons that the clicking mechanism has shat itself.

I will pull it apart to confirm.

Just wanted to know if anyone has the same switch or its just me and my spare switch if stuffed.
