Vti-R Wanted, Help...

I just picked up my vti-r last night, man it put a smile on my face lols

Comlpetely stock as rock, paint is immac as its been resprayed, no issues with it whatsoever lols, awesome car haha

JDM front conversion being sprayed this week and fitted next week and injen CAI coming this week too

What year did you get and how Many k's? Was it on carsales? And did you buy your cai new? What did you pay, that's going to be my first mod too haha. Vtec sounds so good above 6000rpm!!

Defs! I was full smiling when it hit the 2nd butterfly hahahahahaha, yeah it was on carsales, NSW it was a white one, picked it up for $6500 with 1995, 143,000 kms and stock as a rock sitting on fat fives with brand new tyres and 1 year rego haha!
I'm just going to go to JDMyard and pick up their injen brand new, I think its like $425 and another $50 for hydro shield or something lols..

I'm not sure what to do, whether to go ahead with the JDM front conversion or throw the money at Coils, a bigger TB, skunk2 IM, exhaust..

Just remember if you buy the B18C2 Injen CAI this week, you won't be able to fit it on the skunk2 IM if you buy it later. You would need a B18C5 Injen CAI to fit in the Skunk2 IM.

Sorry, B18C5/C7 are simular, both Type R engines.

Where did you notice the biggest gains? And did you lose any bottom end torque?

I think my plans for now for this car are an ITR lip, coils, intake and some wheels.

To be honest I didn't really notice much loss, if any, in the bottom end, the bigger throttle body makes quite a large difference and makes the throttle very sensitive/responsive.. Took me a while to get used to driving it after the mods lols

The biggest gains I would say is high end, the vtec is single stage and the crossover sounds very very nice. When vtec engages it pulls quite hard (much harder than stock)

I've installed the coils, I don't really like the lip I bought so I'm probably going to try and find an ITR one as well
