    DC5R - Alarm problem

    Hi All,

I have problem with my car alarm (I believe it is a standard Honda Alarm). Recently, I tried to jump start my car due to lack of driving (flat battery). When I connect the portable jump starter (battery) terminals onto the car's battery terminals, the car alarm went off. I tried to disable the alarm by pressing the unlock button, but it was unsuccessful. I also tried to disable the immobiliser and once again, it fails. I can start the car but the alarm keep ringing. I have tried disconnecting the -ve terminal from the battery for 30 mins hoping that the alarm will reset, but that ain't working.

Has anyone encounter the same problem? Can anyone help me out please?

P.S: I have used the search but have not found anything related to the same issues.

Did you just deactivate the alarm using the little key? When I disconnected by battery, the alarm went off so I deactivated it and it just went super quiet, probably from just some residual power.
