Gonna look at the car on saturday. Hopefully all goes well! Noww it doesn't have logs, (kinda expected that) will a VIN check do much? As long as I get it checkd out to see if it is fine mechanically, should all be good? Any signs I can check for wound back odo?

don't think you'll be able to check if the odo's been wound back until purchased.
vin check online, see if chassis has any welding marks, how many owners have had it, the usual stuff i guess.

when bought from an import dealership and its straight from JP, generally there's no logbook, but if it's from private selller..there may or may not be one.
i'm not 100% on it...but there should be a logbook if it's from a private seller in australia. could someone confirm for me?

So should the no log-book thing be much of an issue to worry about? Is there anyway I can get one once i purchase the car?

I'll definitely be doing that if I get the car. But definitely getting it checked out by Centrax like Phil recommended.

ALSO forgot to ad the dealer said it comes with 5 years warranty which covers parts and labour. Seems decent or is it usually the case with imports.
