    Update

Hey guys, I've havent posted anything on this thread for awhile cause Ive been busy with work and my car. Now the conversion is completely finished ! Anyways, I was driving round at work. Just normal steady driving but then abruptly out of nowhere I heard a loud "PAK" it sounded like it came from inside the cabin. Then the clutch would not work. It would depress but the clutch would not engage. Luckily my place was 100m away and I just let it roll home. I was soo infuriated. Called my mechanic and he told me to bring it in. I arranged a Tow truck the next day and took it there. I hate it how they are always late, but the Tow truck guy was cool. Started talking about all the cars he done up, only to be rear ended and written off. A supercharged corolla and a R32GTR. We got there dropped it off and my mechanic told me to come tomorrow. Tomorrow came and he told me it wasnt the master or slave clutch cyclinders [ which I thought it was and was gonna make him fix it for free and reimburse towing cause he must stuffed something when he put it together] it was some internal part, that I'm not quite familiar with. He fixed it cheap. After that I got paid and straight away went scavenging for a KPRO. I was looking for a KPRO eversince my engine light came on, which was shortly after the conversion. Apparently something was screwy with the ECU, from the Hydraulic lock. I was gonna get one anyway due to popular demand. I was quite fortunate to find one. TY to Samm928. Then shortly after that I got it tuned by Daniel from Toda. Nice guy. On a dyno shootout I got 122.6kw atw. Which is pretty good considering my car is sucking up seriously heat soaked air. The opening to the airbox is right behind a heater hose or soemthing. Dont know 100% but it was really warm when I stuck my hand there. Might also have bubbles in my radiator. If I had a GruppeM intake along with my Mugen headers I bought second hand and Toda Cat back I think I can top 130kw atw but I kinda like how stock my car looks, and the surprise a SSS or V6 driver gets. Here's some images to check out. I bought a new battery aswell, to crank my new monster to life and hasport engine mounts keep it on a leash.

So the plan now, is to try and prep my car for track. I thinking about coilovers, RPF1's + semi slicks, oil cooler and an aftermarket radiator.

If anyone is thinking about doing the same thing heres an outline of what I think you need to avoid headaches and save on labour as you can do it all in one go.

-It'd be real good timing if your clutch was going cause you can replace it with the engine conversion and it shouldnt really cost you cause you need to take the gearbox out to do a conversion. Also good time to service the gearbox and MAKE SURE YOUR WHOLE CLUTCH IS SYSTEM IS GOOD TO GO or itll go PAK and you have to call a Tow truck.lol. My clucth had 70% tread still, so I didnt replace it. If I did I'd go for an Ogura clutch cause it comes with a lightened flywheel.
    -K24a3
-Engine mounts. I use Hasport and they are more quieter than my previous stockish ones on the K20a. Spun me out. Hasports are 62A i think, the street variant.
    - If your planning on getting headers, get them put in with the conversion to save on labour. I did this step.
    - ECU and tune straight away. It was silly putting it off.

Its how you drive. You sound like a P plater.
Good luck with 10 second DC5R. LOL. LOL. LMAO.

feel free to prove me wrong.

    PS. neg rep for asking.

Sounds like the OP is a reckless driver (I'm making assumptions)
If you drive carefully, slowly, I don't think there would be any problems.
My tuner - Daniel from Toda says something completely different to you "Bludger" LOL. LOL. LMAO.
He says you should go fast. Cause you WILL suck water in and get Hydraulic lock if you are going slow. He advised me that if I came across puddles and had a CAI, I should drop it to 2 or stay in 1st if I could, and drive over it at a high rev, like 7K rpm. Slow or fast, I will suck water in, but by going quickly over it at a high rev, the water will expel out through the exhaust, my revs drop down to something like 3K rpm whilst at full throttle, and I will emerge on the other side of the puddle fine.
    LOL. LOL. LMAO.

I fixed it up. TY. It made sense in my head as I was typing it up hahaz.
And I believe his theory is credible because he has 20yrs experience and has likely tried it himself. Or else he would have said it doesnt matter im F*(ked either way
