Best way to fit a Type R Style Lip?

Hi Guys my lip fell off my car a few months back and im replacing it with a new Type R Style Front Lip for an EK Civic. Facelift type.

has anyone got any suggestions to the best way to fit it ?

do they fit perfectly onto the bumper or will I need to bend it a bit and also where is the best places to bolt it down?

most lips dont fit perfectly unless they are expensive types. use sun, heat gun or w.e to heat up the lip (plastic im guessing) so its easier to bend and flex.

this will help you out mate http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...ng-replica-lip

as bulbasaur said heating it up is a big help, i found using plenty of good quality screws did the job, and be very carefull not to tighten the screws too much as they will strip the plastic and wont be as strong as they should. also if it comes with brackets, i think it's best to use them because it not only secures the lip a lot better but it also makes it easier to install IMO one thing that will also help you is another person to help you put it on. i got my old man to help me, made it a lot easier

    good luck bro

Im not sure how i can help you but i heard from people, you use superglue and double sided tape. Its pretty much theft proof and idiot proof.
