    steering wheel help

    im planning to buy a vti civic and its got an aftermarket steering wheel and i think a boss kit is also fitted?

    what im wondering is if fit a dc2r/ek9/dc5r steering wheels would i need to change the boss kit or anything?

    also would the still airbags work?

    yes it will have a boss kit on for the aftermarket steering wheel, but if you want an oem steering wheel you won't need a boss kit at all, the wheel should just bolt up.

    what year of civic? if it's an EG that didn't come with airbags originally then airbags wont work. however if the car is set up for airbags (came with them in it) then it should work fine.

    its a 93 vti hatch - im not sure if those came standard with airbags or not

    just remove boss kit and steering wheel. oem dc2r steering wheels dont need a boss kit.

    I dont think ek9/dc5r steering wheels fit eg.
    only dc2r, dc2, eg steering wheels are interchangeable. If airbags are a factor, then get the dc2r srs airbag one.
