    I miss my old DA9 :0(
I paid just under 1K for the engine and the car had very low kms when the engine went in, the old engine went Kaboom coz it recieved alot of thrashing from my older brothers who used to take it to the track and so on, the problem it had was that the Piston rings were gone and it was burning oil and when I purchased the car it was getting worse and wose, untill one night out with some friends we where driving back home when I heard a flaping sound followed by a POP! then I could smell heaps of burning oil the car just rolled and I managed to get it off the Freeway ance pulled over and I had a look round the engine and I found a Triangular Whole in the block the size of a Golf ball or so! thats when I said to my self R.I.P. B18A1 I took things bad at first but it was going to happen sooner or later, so I saw the good side of things and a week later the car was back on the road with a fresh B18B, after runing the engine in and performing its first service it took it for a good drive to see how well it went......

I was opting for the B16A at that time but the Idea of replacing the 1.8 engine with a 1.6 wasnt apealing to me and back then I didnt know mutch about Vtec but now I wished I did! lol I had even found a whole front cut for only $2000 complete! I just hope next time I find a front cut of a B18C From a VTiR or Type R! oh well.........

Hey wats the difference between the series 1 and 2 frontbars?? and tails?? the must be subtle cause i havent noticed...

Oh yeah.. and exactly wat lo n sxc said about the engines... ive seen a b16a conversion, ive got the b18b and ive seen the b20b outta a CRV in my mates teg...

I think all options are good and reliable depending on kms and internals and stuff... and then you can work your way from there...

    Keep us updated on it!!

series 1 tail lights have clear tail light indicators
series 2 have orange indicator tail lights
series 1 rear bar slightly diff to series 2.. therefore u gotta get the right lip if u want one
series one front bar and front indicators diff to series two.. again front lips from series one wont fit on series 2 vice versa...

ill just post up some pics

LOL I still rekon the series one looks better IMO, I dont like the fact that the series two has no vents, it would make it harder to place a pipe or a hose to run some cold air to a pod or something simillar

IMO the "drifter" aftermarket bar is badass for the LS ..

Freek you need another .6 of a LTR

Good eye Son! lets just say they had to come off! due to huuuummmm????
something you come cross very often in a shoping centre. *BUMP*

Really I took them off coz my car is too low and I broke three of them, they would have looked better if I had a body kit!
