ummmm I would say use a cold air intake and then change some engine components to allow more air to breath

i-VTEC doesn't cross over like the old VTEC's in the B-series, especially in the K24, its very gradual in comparison.

And i-VTEC hits at 6000 rpm... redline is 7400rpm (in comparison... K20 in the teg redline's 8100), not much to play with... so even if you hear something it wont be much.

Stick a dynamite in ur exhaust and light it. cause i-VTEC is gradual, it aint designed to give you that BOOM

Do a b18c7 swap! Lol jokes..

Louder cross over doesn't necessarily mean a good thing for 1 my b16a crossover is loud as a mother ****er but thats Coz the b16 is such a nugget that by 5500rpm engine is running out of puff and then suddenly VTEC kicks in q boom comes the aggressive rush! A more finely tuned engine eg b18c7 or k series has a more subtle cross over.
