Hey there peoples... I was just trying to source the best cold air intake system for my DC2 Vtir.
Word on the street is that the AEM intake system is the best however i have had a look and it is a little over my budget. Can anyone recommend a good intake system and provide an estimated price for it. Thanks...

Mate you could look up Honda-tech, Team-integra.net or similar dc2 based sites for some results, most of them are American based however. You could try buying a generic, cheaper model off ebay or similar, or as Adrian (:P) said, DIY....
I'm sure most brand concious or brand advocates would definitely list the AEM intake up amongst the best...or so i've heard..

Sounds good in theory, but is there any specific piping needed etc...
Im happy to spend some money but not over $450..

J's Racing CF Intake can be had for less than $450. And proven to make as much, maybe even more power than AEM.

seriously... just make up a cold air feed and replace your panel filter... that is the best method for low cost the aem wont give you much more advantage than this system.. (has been tested :P)

    tracer,

    try this article from team-integra.net

    http://www.team-integra.net/sections...;ArticleID=126

It gives you step by step instructions on how to DIY.
I'm yet to find the time to try it out, but it'll be one of my first mods and looks simple enough.

    Bill.
