103tdi can be chipped to 140kw iirc

155tsi can be chipped to 190kw without any mechanical changes iirc.
0-100 6.3-6.5sec on the 6spd DSG.......... All for about $1000 or so.

Just got a manual base model September update euro for a bit less than 28k driveaway in Brisbane. Have only driven it from dealer home so far but extremely impressed with car. Very nice inside for a base model, and for someone who normaly drives an automatic these 6 speed gearboxes are amazingly fun. Cant wait to go for a drive!

I have had a 1981 240d diesel Mercedes for about 10 years haha

Its the pearl white and other cars I was looking at were Ford Focus, Mazda 3 not much else really, most of the other cars comparable to the euro are much more expensive and were beyond my budget, I think spending the extra 5k odd K for the euro over the above was a good decision. Seems like amazing bang for buck.

One thing I cant get over is how large the car is, its HUGE! Its a bit like a whale that handles like a go cart, love it. Its significantly bigger than the merc and that was big enough.

I am going to clean it in the morning and put a few coats of Jetseal 109 on it.
