    What oil + filter and petrol do you use for your ek1? general questions

    I'm planning to change my oil + oil filter at the 80km mark.

    I'm thinking 10w-40? but which type/brand?

    Is there any DIY tutorials out there on ozhonda? If so, would be great if anyone can link me! Or provide me with some tips (first time DIYer, first car)

    ALSO. What petrol do you guys use for your ek1? According to various sites:

    Had a DC2 VTIR
    Use ron91 unless timing is advanced . 98 won't really give you much gain. For filter just get a decent ryco. And oil just get a recommended weight oil from a decent brand. don't over think it

    Is it dramatically bad if you use E10? Previous owner used it...

    Your fuel lines will degrade over time from the ethanol and as your engine computer isn't tuned for e10 get potentially less power and economy

    Does this ONLY occur when E10 is used? Or will the fuel lines degrade no matter what from now on and less power + economy?

    E10 isnt worth it at the end. You only save a couple of cents per litre. Just get 91. Its worth it.

    And yeah, typically only when E10. More modern cars have fuel systems suitable to E10

    No worries. Happy motoring. Depending on km if under 200k go for 10-30 oil and if over 200 go for 15-40

    It's actually under 100km. Quite low for the car! Almost hitting 80km soon-

    I think I can go as thin as 5-30 but 10-30 should be pretty standard hmm

    Yeah 10-30 will do fine. DOnt worry about 5-30, this is Australia haha.
