    TYRE LEAK - PLUG - leaking again - RE-PLUG?

I had a nail go through my tyre. took it to the tyre shop and had the young fella plug it from the inside.

now some 2 weeks later the tyre is leaking through the plug.

can it be re-plugged, or patched, or anything but get a new tyre!! they are bridgestone potenza 235/r19/35s @ $500 plus per tyre...FML

    *** UPDATE ***

going in for a re-plug at around 2pm, will also try rotating the tyre to the back to minimise tyre flexing (through hard turns) causing the patch to peel off.. the problem is that when they apply these patch/plugs they buff the tyre down, if they buff again and it exposes the wires, it will wreck the tyre....will update again with results

good noob thread for future references

if not get a tyre plug kits and plug it, should be good enough, and then if still doubtful get them to double patch it from the inside, might cost 35 to patch, plug kit is like 10$

If itis bad enough for the mushroom plug to leak, then those cheap diy plug kits won't help much.

    UPDATE***

jaxtyre place moss st, willing to try a re-replug/patch. problem is that when they do this they buff the tyre, if they buffit too far, it can jeapordise tyre integrity and it will be ****ed.
