    hello all

    was wanting to put a whale intake on my stock D16Y5 would there be any problems in doing so ?

    so the car wont run to rich and eventually go downhill... people are telling me i need to do a tune up in order to put the new intake in

    using that intake will be fine but it sucks in more hot air compared to the stock airbox

    Yeh I'm aware of that as long as my motor runs good I don't mind... In the near future I'm looking at putting B18CR in it just need to find out how much it's gonna cost me

    All non sence aside if you are gonna b swap its prolly worth saving your money and puting it towards that. However if u wanna go the way of a d series then by all means go for it however it would be worthwile looking into an injen or something in a proper cold air intake

    Yeh I'm only getting a cheap one that my mate doesn't want anymore I'm pretty sure I wanna go with the b series motor was even thinking about the k series motor but quite unsure yet

    Go for it bro. more intake noise make you feel like a race car driver. on the serious note, I compared my previous stock airbox to AEM V2 CAI fuel mileage, and I noticed I got about an extra 20-50km from have just a CAI before i did any of my current up mods.
