you cant run low offsets on an s2k.. do your research before posting something pointless like that..
Too wide ? never...
its because the profile is too big.. ideally i'll be ordering 245-35-17
ill get a side on shot to show you exactly how much they "pop out"
I run 8.5jj+25 offset at front, have to lol at "you cant run low offsets on an s2k.." or maybe you are talking about negative offsets
Do the front wheels rub when you fully turn your steering wheel?
No offense mate, just giving my opinions
Normal size 225/45 front 235/40 rear.
Once you done the guard and put camber, low offset is not a problem http://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/8593...-lots-of-pics/
Check this out, do some research, and enjoy your wheels lol
Im not sure why your bragging since a +25 isnt even a low offset. Anyone can run a +25 on a 8.5 lol but ppl want wider tyres then a 225 and 235 hence why they go with a higher offset to fit more tyre.
Did I say 8.5jj +25 is low offset? What't your definition of low offset?
I was just giving my idea of "croanth" wheel build and set up, and he replied "you cant run low offsets on an s2k.. do your research before posting something pointless like that.."
I think I should say "good job, look amazing" will appreciate him lol
Maybe if I put my two cents in this will get back on track.
It's often been said that the S2000 is a higher than typical offset car. The craze for dish (typical of low to negative offset or very wide rims) kinda passed us by.
My rims are Work S2Rs (8" at front, 9" at rear). They have offsets of 55mm and 61mm respectively. They fit without camber modification or bodywork. I'm running 235/35-18 and 265/35-18 (IIRC).
Yeah I've noticed s2k wheels are usually quite weak. What's the biggest lip size you can get without pulling the fenders?
Biggest lip size doesn't mean nothing, you can a lower offset wheel but that'll require you to build one with the face having rarely any back spacing..
