    Pillow - did you remove the cover to paint it or just cover everything up and paint with it in the engine bay? How difficult was it to do?

    You pretty much have to take it off to get the wrinkle effect. If you want the wrinkle effect you have to put it in the oven or heat it in some way. Besides that it's way easier to remove than to mask everything up (spray paint will go everywhere, and masking everything so that nothing seeps through is almost impossible)

    do i need to use the red stuff to seal the cover when i put the cover back on?
    and is it essential to put it in oven??

    and also what is 'Seran Wrap' is it like glad wrap?

    Can more people post up the after pics? I wanted to paint my D16a8 valve cover, but things i do never turn out how they're usually intended, lol.

    From what ive seen thats the best looking DIY Valve Cover paintjob ive ever seen .

    This looks really good! im deffinately gonna do it to mine! Did you have to use any sort of metal primer? after you used the paint stripped and before you painted with the VHT?

    Also What grad sand paper were you useing and how many times did you sand back and repaint?

    how bad does the paint smell in the oven?
    looks awesome but might go with something you dont have to bake if its gonna stink me out
