    what red is it?

    hey all

    can anyone tell me what the paint code is for a red 88 honda crx ? i dont have the tag on my car cause the previous owner took it off when he got pearl put on it. and he has since moved, can someone help me out please?

    can you post a pic, you say it has a pearl on it, put a pic up and then should be able to indentify what the colour is...

    i think its called Milano Red and code is something like R32 or something.

    Did you want to use same as my GENONE and then put some pearl into that?

    milano red is what i thought it might be cause i have seen other pplz respraying their car like this. but if someone on here has a red crx could they go and have a quick look to see what the code is, if its not to much trouble. i will also post a pic so you can all see what clour my car is atm. but i just want the base colour so that once that is right they can put any amount of pearl in it

    Seeing though it has a pearl over the top, I hope your not wanting to paint just a small section...

    The colour code 'may' be on the VIN plate as well.

    no its not just a lil bit its FINALLY for a rear bar, side skirts, door pods and a wing. plus im touch up my front bar and any left over paint would be great. cheers for the tip i will check the vin. by the sounds of it the paint code must start with an 'R' so i will see if that is on the vin

    i found it pplz, it wasnt on the vin . it was on someone elses car i found some pplz over here with red ones and the code is R 63. for my reference and anyone else with the same problem

    but when i went to the panel beaters they didnt believe it...
    And smoe girl in melbourne, Tash, has a red crx stocker and her code is R13 or something..
    wth :O

    but yea, the crx honda red faded looks crap in the sun

    I also have R13 "Rio Red" I believe it is called. (89crx) it contains abit of lead, so the paints expensive

    well i've got two red crx'ers here with R 63 so i will stick with that. but i do know that mike in perth has a gen 1 and his is R 32. all these numbers :P but thanks pplz
