I have been looking at getting a Spoon TB for my Jazz, but something just hit me.

The OEM TB is 50mm (as far as I am aware) and the Spoon TB is 58mm. Now at the moment I have an A'pexi Power Intake fitted to the OEM TB, which is a cast aluminium pipe that attatches directly to the TB.

Now the intake is 50mm. Does that mean that for maximum benefit, the internal dimensions of the intake should match those of the new TB (i.e. 58mm)?

It all seems logical in my head - why would you have a 50mm intake running in to a 58mm TB - but technically speaking is this thought process correct?

By fitting the larger TB with the current intake, is it just a waste of time?
