    Install Car Kit anyone?

    I have problem to take the centre console off so I can wire my car kit to the stock audio. Anyone here have installed a car kit on their Euro?

    The stock stereo has no phone mute wire so when the phone rings you'll have to turn the stereo off manually to hear the phone call which means you won't be able to use the car speakers.

    i know but my car kit got their own speaker so it is not an issue
    anyone got any instruction on how to remove the centre console?

    Look in the Audio or DIY forum. Many ppl have removed it for installation of ipod accessories.

    since theres no mute, theres no need to remove the head unit. I would just run a power and accessory wire directly from the fuse box.

    true but the problem is i dont know anything about the fuse box
