DC2R suspension in delsol

Have any of your out there tried it?

the delsol weighs more so their should be an issue with height. I'm running stock height at the moment anyhow.

Just after the firmer ride and newer shocks.

I'm aware that I need to change the LCA for the rear.

not sure if this counts but ive tried stock dc2r springs on an eg hatch and it was pretty firm and good until the stock gli shocks blew

u can use the entire dc2r sussy. if u have all hubs/rotors/trailing arms etc.

if u want to use spring and shocks only, just change the rear lca to itr ones.

the delsol aint gonna lower the car more on dc2r sussy. its gonna sit the same as the teg.

you can use the rear dc2r shocks only on a jdm del sol sir, otherwise you have to use the some rear lca's that'll take the loop eye shocks in the rear

and I don't know where you heard that the itr is lighter than a sol... itr weighs 300 lbs more than my sol..

so how much do the itr's weigh over in the states?

over here DC2R are 2392lb's or 1084kg.

and the delsol weighs 2461lb's or 1115kg.

does anyone else think differently?..........I need to have a rough idea as this will affect ride height. As long as the delsol weighs more it'll be a go'er.

usdm itr is listed as having a curb weight of 2639 lbs or 1197 kg

I've personally weighed my sol in at 2375 lbs

is your delsol the 160hp version? because thats what we got in aust.

strange but interesting point you've raised.

I can see the logic of the delsol weigh in less because of it's EG platform but never really questioned it.

no, mine isn't, but those tend to weigh in at around 2450 lbs out here...

either way, still quite a bit less than the itr.

typically the sols weight in heavier than the eg hatches, but lighter than the coupes and sedans... I really can't see the teg weighing in lighter than any of the civics

I really wonder if the weight listed for the dc2r listed on this site is wrong... I really can't figure out how your dc2r would weight 250lbs less than ours... the dc2r isn't exactly the most portly of cars with lots of extras
