[EURO] vibration when clutch is pushed

A question for you Euro Manual owners...

(brand new euro) I noticed that when I push in the clutch to change gears, I hear and feel a slight vibration which I find strange.

    For instance;

    Accelerate in 2nd gear
Time to change to third, push in clutch
The car will vibrate a bit for 1 second while the RPM lowers (i.e. 4000rpm->2500rpm)
Pop it into third, release clutch

Anyone notice this? I hope there isnt a problem with mine.

...and yeah I hit upper VTEC for the first time today, and damn the power is freakin sweet Shame it only lasts for ~1200rpm tho.

mmm not too sure, never noticed...

what i do notice is sometimes 2nd gear is too high for some corners that i turn....the car shudders a bit when i exit the turn and accelerate, but shifting back down to first gear isn't that feasible - the cornering was slow but not that slow to shove back into 1st....

also noticed that 1st gear aint that great with torque??? although i've never tried stepping on it in first, only taken it up to about 40km/hr in first....feels like i'm gonna hurt my car if i rev it higher....lol

oh dear. you haven't vtec'd 1st gear yet. just do it man - take it to 7300rpm - otherwise we will think you are a granny

Eurodude - take the car to a dealer to look at. When you say vibration - where is the vibration felt. In the clutch or the car generally?

Third gear is easily the best gear in the Euro MT - the lower->mid RPM torque is great!

I find second gear ok around corners, but its lacking in power compared to third gear unless its at high RPM.

As for first gear, yes I noticed that the gear is quick through the RPM, but lacks power

But yeah, the vibration kind of feels like clutch shudder. Maybe it happens because the car has only done 300km, and will 'smooth out' later after my 1000km oil change.

Well at least my gearbox feels much smoother now. For the first few days I noticed the gear stick was a bit ruff in terms of movement - I could feel metal->metal hesitation, but its way better now

I'll have the dealer look at it when it gets its 1000km service.

The vibration is felt from the gearbox I think, but its hard to tell. It almost seems like the fly-by-wire throttle hesitates while the RPM is lowering.

ACtually the vibration is not the gearbox, rather its the engine that vibrates at around 2000rpm. Higher than 2500rpm, the engine is smooth as a babies butt.

do you also notice a bit of vibration at 2000rpm?

you should feel first gear in a euro with some power mods.. i think your opinion will change haha

Is it a problem? I mean no one has really confirmed they notice a vibration at 2000-2500rpm, so I'm guessing its normal

So whats the cause and solution?
