Hey ppl in melb, where are some good places to get my tranny rebuilt? does honda do it? i'm looking for one's close to home, i'm in Heidelberg.
Look in the yellow pages to see auto tran shop around your area. I think there are alot of car work shop down at Waterdale Rd.
Ring and ask for a tranny changeover, so that u give your old one to them and u get a recon unit. Honda does the same but charge an arm + a leg. Don't waste your time on a 2nd hand unit, who knows how many kms has that tranny done.
