Thread: Rattly window?

  1. #1

    Rattly window?

When my window isn't fully wound up, and I close the door, it makes a rattling sound.
Also, when it is wound down a bit, I can move it around a fair amount

I wont wondering, what this could be, and how to fix it?

the bolts holding your window to the car is probably loose.

Its prob the locking mechanism in the door. Some cable ties to tighten them up helps

My money is on the rubber window seals, very common problem on older DC's.

It is definately the window that makes the noise

It manual windows and was changed to power windows from an upper spec car, but they are from a 97 model
