How do you guys find the braking system on the Euro?

Well, my car is around 5,000km mark and I started to push the car to in terms of accelerating and braking just to see what the it's limits are like. I find the 6,000+ rpm sound addictive!!
Anyway, I also find the brakes on the Euro are quite weak to be honest, it's got 2 huge discs and good size calipers in the front and I expect it to pull up nice and strong but I was quite wrong about it.

It had good initial bite, but faded quite quickly when I step on the pedal harder. Sometimes I overshot the corner because the brakes weren't up to the job. Coming from a small 1000kg hatch with good braking system into a 1400kg sedan I already allow myself to brake earlier than what I did in the hatch but the car just won't pull up as I expected to. ABS didnt kick in or anything I just brake hard but not hard enough to induce ABS.

Maybe we got shit pads in our Euro or something...
