hm..just spent some time thinking abt this one, and my theory is..

More efficient air intake and or Cold air = bigger compustion, more power.

more power = higher rpm.

higher rpm = hitting vtec sooner

So in conclusion, my theory is that cold air increases the combustion and spins the crankshaft faster, getting more rpm, and hence using less fuel required to get to the point of vtec.

I guess same would apply to gruppem or mugen intake, they increase intake efficiency, and get you a better combustion more rpm etc.

someone confirm?
