Not sure about AUS-spec Type R but the VTi-R / GSi / SiR-G integras use the same non-short shifters and linkages.

The JDM Type R Linkages are much fatter and stiffer than the VTiR versions.. the actual shifter on VTiR teggy (and maybe AUS Type R) is a long straight version (has one bend down low) painted black.. the JDM Type R shifter is an 'S' bend and is tapered (fat at the bottom, thin at the top) CHROME.

I bought mine as a ful set of linkages, shifter and new bushings brand new from Leo at JDM Concept. I think he still can get those sets.. but I thoroughly reccomend it !! some aftermarket short shifters using stock linkages can compromise the actual gear selection and can even lead to damaging your gearset / synchros. the OEM JDM Type R linkages set makes for a PERFECT shift and gear selection with OEM reliability and quality.

I actually have a spare JDM Type R shifter somewhere but I think i loaned it to 'Shmivic'.. i just SMS'd him to ask if he still has it.,.
