Aim: To remove any rust
Required: Sandpaper x2 (200+ grit and less than 200 grit)
Primer
Coloured Spray paint (auto1 and super cheap sell paints that match ur car paint code)
Clear top coat
Masking Tape
News Paper

Steps: Roughly Mask Around area where there is rust. This is so you do not sand n e more that U really need to.

Using ur rougher sand paper, sand the area where the rust is visible until u cant see anymore rust.



Once all rust is removed, use the 200+ grit sandpaper to smoth out the area. Once the are is smothed, wipe residue with a dry cloth.

Remove the roughly applied and re-apply masking tape correctly and use newspaper to mask the car from over spray.



Now apply 1-5 coats of primer to the area (allow atleat 5 min between coats or refer to primer canisters instructions)



After final coat of primer allow 1hr before lightly sainding with 200+ grit for smoothness (again refer to primer instructions if in doubt)

Use a dry cloth to remove sanding residue

apply 2-4 coats of touch up spray paint alowwing 5-10 min between coats

5-10 min after final paint coat, applly 2-3 coats of clear coat.

allow 30 min for everything to dry then remove all masking slowly



Now ur done


Other comments: You shouldnt wash/polish for 5-7 days after painting.

You may also want to was car before comencing this, but make sure all is dry
