If you're getting rid of the car, just put up with what's in it now and don't spend anyting extra. The stuff is cheap, but there's a reason that it's cheap... Most times stuff like that won't sound any better then a standard sound system in the car.Originally Posted by '[Cukup-1
If you were keeping the car, I'd say yes, upgrade!!! I jsut did, and it makes a big difference, even if it's just to your own opinion of your car. But when you are not planning on keeping it, you'll ruin the resale value of it if you put in sub-standard *%$@ like this. It makes any potentil buyer think "why did they do this with all this cheap junk?". Not a good thing when you want to get a good price for the car. And if it's going to your sis, or whoever, do you want them to be stuck with something that's really as sub-par as this?
My advice here would be stick with the standard sound system, and let whoever uys the car from you decide for themself n what they want ot put in it. That way, you don't spend anything extra, and whoever ends up buying the car won't feel like they are replacing something that someone else tried.
