I have a 1999 Honda Civic VTi-R coupe, B16A2 engine and everythings stock, its done 180,000 km. Two weeks ago I did an oilfilter and oil change using Castrol edge 5W-30 and when i check the dipstick this morning it was almost empty so I had to add another 1 Liter or so of engine oil. I already checked the oil sump and oil filter to make sure nothings leaking there.

Can anyone recommend why my engines burning oil so quick? Is my oil too thin and should i change to a 10W-40 oil? What engine oil do other em1 owners use?
