Thanks Aaron, I think you're the first one with the answer that I needed.

Reason for my asking is because my 2002 CRV main CD unit is able to play CD-RW but not the in-dash 6 stacker which I optioned.

Lotsa people still don't know the difference between CD-R and CD-RW....

And I NEVER EVER stick any labels on the discs. That is just asking for trouble. Labels cause the disc to go off balance when spinning. A majority of computer CD-ROM drives have built in vibration damping mechanisms (because they spin so fast at up to 50x), but I doubt that audio CD readers have the same.
