I was reading somewhere a while back, about modifying the OBD (can't remember which) ECU of a Honda.
Basically by swapping the ROM chip with other data.

Now, I am wondering, the rev cut is stored in that chip? Does that mean that the rev cut can be raised, and then a piggyback used to tune the car?

Please no comments like "just buy a standalone ECU"
I am just curious to find out if this would work or not, and don't plan on raising the rev limiter unless I do cams, and forged everything... (which I don't think will be happening, bar winning the lottery or something)
