    We have a policy of not drilling holes and cutting metal everywhere so I make a metal (usually aluminum) bracket that extends to the nearest factory bolt, hence removing the need to drill holes anywhere.

    I wouldn't appreciate someone drilling holes in my car and I don't like doing it to my customers cars either.

    is that 0guage cable from the battery? its huge!

    and i noticed you've got another wire running of the negative off the battery
    is that your grounding point?

    Like the position of the stiffening cap in between the 2 amps. Effective.

    Electricity travels in a circuit. If it cannot get back to the battery it will not leave it. Most audio stores overlook this simple issue. See more examples here.
