Surprised at the ease I got the car seeing how long others had to wait. ordered on 9 jan, picked it up today 18jan. Could have been sooner but waited for appropriate rego number to come along.

Two thumbs up to Ferntree Gully Honda

I heard Honda will be bringing Civic Type R in end of this year or next, not sure how reliable that is but pretty convincing, has anyone heard of this from somewhere else

I dunno why they didnt release 17"s with the 06 sport. Usually the top end models of other makes comes with 17"s but why not Honda? Oh well, i guess they wouldnt have a marketing option if they made the 06 model the bees knees.

WTF! wth are you doign with my car?

    bBABAHAHHahahahaha.

    jk.

Make sure you brake it in the way it's mean to once the brakes and clutch bed in : )

I've noticed alot more grip on powering out of corner exits with the Mich'l tyres.......either that for the wheels are heavier and the car isn't able to break traction.

Paid a hair under 33k. At that price, they only threw in the mats. but I'm happy I did not have to wait long.
Will keep it looking stock for a while, quite a drain on the family expenses as I paid cash for it.

Just in general, it should have 17"s stock regardless if i like the looks of it or not

I agree, these days any top of the range model gets minimum 17's........more common to even be as big has 18"s.......e.g golfs, MPS's.....

if only thse 17's fit the euro...now that would look hot ...the civic looks great with the new wheels...the civic type R would be the 'pure sports car' and im pretty sure they would be bringing it in from customers and market demand for hot hatches!

Had ours for six months now, been really good...but...has been back to Honda twice now to get interior panels which keep popping out refitted (has to go back one more time, needed some parts from overseas). Boot was realigned too.
