    Vtec motors in Civic CXi

    Hey...

I'm new to the forums and don't know a great deal about what vtec motors will go in which Hondas.

I am looking at getting a CXi shortly, probably a '97 model and would like to know which motor I could put in.

If someone has some info it would be greatly appreciated.

u can put any motor in.. b h or k series in .. but its money that u will need. and if ur puttin a b series in then better off gettin a gli ..as it will be easier for the wiring.

I am going to close this thread for the moment for you to do some research. There are numerous engines Honda produces and most can be used in the ek chassis.

Some of the engines you might want to look into would include:
    • b16
    • b18
    • b20
    • h22
    • k24
Run some searches for those and then send me a PM for me to reopen the thread for you to ask more questions.

Another good source to look at would be honda-tech.com and you might also consider going to forced induction (turbo etc).
See a good post? Give it a PQ point.
