Im having trouble removing my front wheel hub ( Due to a stripped wheel stud ) Does anyone have a PDF of how to remove the front hub or any advice ?? Would be much appreciated. Cheers Gibbo.
P.s. - Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I wasnt sure if it would get enough exposure in another section!! Thanks again

    Here you go.
To get the locking screw off the brake rotor, get an impact screwdriver from supercheap auto. $20 for it.

Thanks for that exploded view that will help alot ! Now the next question is how hard should the hub be to get off ??? I found the big 36mm Spindle nut a bit hard but cant get the hub off (I'm worried about warping/bending it) Does it require a special tool ??

Does the Euro's spindle nut have a notch that you hammer in, like on the Civics?

If so, then you need to dislodge the notch using a flathead screwdriver then unscrew the nut off. You should replace it but you dont really need to, just hammer a new notch at an undamaged section.

U can get large nut sockets from auto shops that can remove the nut, or just use a massive spanner

Yes, it has the notch. To remove the spindle nut, you will need a BIG ARSE breaker bar. The kind that is 90-100 cm long and at least 5 cm thick. If you use a normal 1/2" drive breaker bar, you will end up breaking your breaker bar.

Just an update - the hub is a press fit to the bearing... I had to remove the entire front knucle and took it down to the Honda dealer to get them to do it - So a bearing and five wheelstuds later... (dont know the finacial damage yet!!) and the Euro will be back on the road with the new shockies... YAY!!! Thanks to all who answered so promptly and with some great advice - Love the OZHONDA spirit.

P.s. I will do a full D.I.Y on the suspension installand the knuckle removal when time permits...
