    Sway Bar?

    Hi
    Just wanting to know if its possible to fit the 2001 civic sway bar to the 2005 models, and also if they can could sum1 post a part number up.

    Unless its the same chassis, which it isn't, then no. The sway bar will bend differently in differnt places, as well as bolt differently onto most likely a different LCA as well.

    You might want to look into getting a whiteline aftermarket sway that is made to fit your car directly.

    As wtih all mods, you might get issues with where to mount the bugger if your car does not come with one stock. Issues like subframe tearouts, etc. But these can be avoided if all your homework is done

    P.s. i'm pretty sure your ES did not come with one.

    in the spec sheet i have from honda says it has the front and rear but i dunno how thick they are.

    ive heard from the US that they can fit RSX rear sways on the ES, but i dunno if the 2002 model sway can fit the 2005 model ES

    maybe you can be the ES civic expert on OH - do some guinea pig, R&D work for us I only know of one other ES civic owner on OH (and his car is hawwtt)
