Ever since i saw sports06 K&N CAI, I am now thinking of getting for my car too but i was told (not knowing much abt the K&N filters) that these filters are oil based filters. The Euro has an Air Flow Meter Sensor between the filter and the engine. When you clean and then coat it with the K&N oil, these oil could then enter the pipe thus sticking onto the air flow sensor and therefore
the measurements on the sensor would be incorrect and the engine performance would be affected.

This is what I've been told and need help from you all whether this is true and if so have u come across of any problems after installing the filter..

No, the Euro does not have an air flow meter sensor. That thing plugged into the intake arm is the intake air temperature sensor. The k24a3 uses a manifold air pressure sensor.
