    Hey All,

Missus and I have aquired a EH/EG Si 4 door sedan with d16a8 motor that came with that model, with other nice things like 4 wheel discs etc.

Was not much of a Honda fan, but now I am extremely impressed! Very well built, well designed, and goes well! ( I was a previous Corolla owner - sorry!)

Have a noisy ISB in the 5 speed at the minute, and need another gearbox soon but it still goes well as is! Maybe even a pod and exhaust to follow?

    Cheers
    Rob

the D16A8/9's are quite a good revvy motor despite not having VTEC. Go a pod filter setup but keep decent length in the inlet, and fit some 4-2-1 X-force headers and cat -back exhaust. You'll be suprised...

Good advice. I wouldnt mind seeing how the D series will go before I start thinking about a B series. Gearbox is a pain in the &*$ though . . . .

Welcome mate. Si's are great cars. punchy performance for a 1.6l engine. Give that task to any other maker and i dont think they'd be able to pull as much power (back in the early 90s!)
