    hey

i noticed the other day when i filled up my tank to the brim my fuel gauge says its bearly over half full.

my mate who is a truck mechanic says its probably the fuel sensor sticking inside the fuel tank.

has anyone got any suggestions of what to do or a website with information on how to fix the gauge?

btw im driving a 98 accord if it makes any diffrence...

    cheers!

you need to remove the fuel sender unit. mesure its resistence with a DMM and comapre to specs from the workshop manual ( sorry I dont have the specs for this one.) if it checks out ok then you need to simulate the sender with a resister block and test the gauge.
