Most thieves will pass a car if they see the little flashing light. They might bump the car to see if it goes off but for the most part an alarm is just another thing they have to disable to take the car and it will also call attention to the car. Of course a tow truck will take the car faster than any one person. In my opinion a simple alarm that is inexpensive will do just as good as an expensive alarm. It all depends on the options you want, like paging or auto start. I myself use Clifford, made by DEI, in all my cars. I wouldn't think of owning a car without an alarm. Just make sure to burry it deep in the dash or be like me and put it somewhere else in the car.

personally i believe those sweet recaros are worth having an alarm. just as an extra deterant for those potential theifs. i had an alarm sitting at home not installed when my recaros got stolen and i was pretty dirty. so from my pov the alarm is worth it and maybe change one or two of your bolts for you seats.

as for types of alarms possibly one with a pager system so if your car does get broken into you will know it. just my two cents.

why is this even a question.

Every DC2R should have an alarm with at least 2 points of immobilisation, tilt sensor, glass break sensor.

Ur asking for it to be stolen if u dont have an alarm, honda's security is pathetically easy to bypass.

its a pretty cheap mod to get usually and also gives u a better piece of mind and security. even if it only slows down a theif its a help. but my alarm/immobiliser just acts as a joke to my mates as the just slap my bonnet and make my alarm go off just to piss me off. lol. but a worthwile mod IMO
