To OP: Was this time a once off? Or did you replicate it a few times within say .1 to .2 of a second?

I've seen evidence of timming errors personally from the SAS, from my own car back in 04 and just this last weekend my friend in my old N/A starlet getting a 63.

Until timming at SAS is done with transponders I will always be wary of the element of human error, regardless of the overall outstanding job the people upstairs do.

If people are not going to the track because of other people and their times then that is sad really. However if it IS due to other commitments or lack of motivation then let them be, its called priorities.

And in anticipation of those that know me asking why I have not hit the track in a long time, I've got other commitments and more important things going on in my life that I put having fun out there on the back burner.... for a while. Sacrificing myself now and securing my future and the future of my lady is more important at this point in time.

You guys should be more worried about having fun and seeing how far you can push your machines and your own driving abilities, than concern yourselves with the activities of others.

SPEEDCORE, in the first post he mentioned getting consistent 60.XXs before breaking into the 50's so it seems the time should be accurate.

    I totally agree.

When i tracked my car it was a non-timed event and you know what... it let me enjoy myself a lot more. Some ppl really do speak a lot of shit about other people and their times, why? to give themselves a sense of superiority or to boost their ego? who knows.

I'd like to go to queensland raceway and see what I can do with the car, but if certain people are there stairing me down because I can't break into the 60's or something I'd rather just go to morgan park raceway and have some fun away from the judgmental types.

Reason was because there is too many dicks that are just on here to put people down and talk shit so i had to say something.
some people really should take their own advice

I've also only ever bought a few parts from centrax but still receive great customer service as does anyone else I've spoken to that's been to them.

someone does a 59 in a dc5r and others start spinning shit about a local business where the guy services his car and buys his break pads? interesting.

    I did in three seesions on i am guessing laps where i didn't get held up much by traffic (20 cars in a group) a 60.27, 60.85, 60.97, 60.57, 60.99, 60.59, 59.94, 60.32.

Anyways i'll be at the track next wed for the sprint and hopefully the groups will be much smaller and organised by similar times so that i can get some good fast laps together.

Thanks to all those have been supportive. Like i siad i only go out there to have fun but its always rewarding to do good times

lol welcome back to the forums Adrian!

    I don't care if i don't get 140kw from my K20, I still have fun driving it.

and those that think you need to spend big with a shop and expect to be treated "special" then most of you would probably fall over and die if you found out how much you need to spend at Louis Vuitton per month to become a VIP member....LOL

    ooi.. ooi.. ooi..

What has this all got to do with me?? hahaha...

Firstly 59.9 is like scratching the sub 60secs by the skin of a fly's dick...no need to show off (we did a 59.4 with or b16a1 in our crx)

However I believe "bachlor" can do better times especially with the cooler climate coming in.. and we all look forward to that - congrats!

With Centrax I think they are not so fast these days, but come on they were the forefathers of racing in QLD and for that it is well deserved. And did you know that Centrax a couple of years ago had an EG sedan that did below 60secs (correct me if im wrong, so as i said sub 60 is yesterdays news).
I have never met Chris or Stephen, but i think they must be pretty okay to have so many people defending them. I think we all should leave businesses alone - period.

Also, I choose to race with a lighter car - that is just called motorsports. I have never seen a full trim Japanese GT race car. My car is an all purpose track car (that we drive on the road to reduce towing charges). Everybody knows that a race car does not have interior trim; it's like comparing the K-series to a B-series = 15 years more development.

We might not have a flash workshop (mainly due to the fact my dad is not a millionaire) but i do believe in the work we do, and we have the results to PROVE IT. We believe in spending money wisely and making the right choices (E.g. Whats the point of 6 pot brakes in a standard car?) and shti times to prove it.

And to comment on my driving skill - i'm a hopeless driver, but who says that a owner of a casino must be the best gambler? We are a performance shop and that is what I want to do, I want to built fast car not race them personally; I cherish my life more haha.

I am lucky that my 2 best buddys are robbie nyugen and jerome kennedy(we will be building a s15 drift car together). i initially built my car for robbie as he was bugging me built it for him to bring it out for the weekend sprint meets. when we built the car we never expected to kick ass.. but i just did it the best way i knew how... and it worked hahaha. Yes they are the best drivers in qlds but i know for a fact if our work was not up to scratch or if they think we are going to get our ass kicked they will not voluntarily ask me to built the cars for them..

End of the day the moral of this tread is:
Business' names like Centrax or mine should not be dragged into treads like that (huh barefoot..haha)

Bachelor did 59.9 - again, congrats you have done well, and we look forward to racing your car in the drags and track - but bro this time no excuses..

We also look forward to you servicing you cars with us. Knowing that you have spent so much with Centrax.. I need food too.. lol ... maybe not, im too fat!

That's correct, Centrax did have a eg sedan that did 60s on QR Sprint track.

I've heard good things about Hi Power Racing too...and I hope to take my car to you to get serviced someday, since you're close to where I am most of the time.

Ivan you're such a girl. Y don't you just say what you really think, hahaha. I was taking a direct stab at Steven cause his a rude f uck. Too bad it turned into a workshop slug.

Just for all you Centrax fans. Many of my friends where good customers with Centrax untill they released they were getting f ucked over. Quick example would be recommending someone with a carby civic to buy a $2000+ exhaust system, this actually happened and he did listen and buy it... If you think this is good advice, Centrax is the place for you.
