TODA, Cusco, ATS, Exeddy read up on any of these, then it comes down to budget and preference. Best starting point would be searching S2KI.com and web sites.

Will fitting an aftermarket clutch to a 99-01 S2 fix the clutch 'buzz' problem?

yes it will, but recommended that you also change the flywheel

When i got my clutch kit installed the buzz was worse due to the clutch disc having more springs. The only time ive heard of the buzz going away is with swap overs from new models.

i know of a few guys with the same problems going for an aftermarket clutch .

01+ OEM clutchs dont suffer from clutch buzz anymore .
